LeBron James home was sprayed with the N word and once again we are all reminded that no matter who you are- you will be reminded of how far we have come.
The danger of not knowing where you stand leaves you wide open to deception. Staying aware of your surroundings will give you the edge of the hatred that is clearly in your face. See- I know there are people around me that would rather not deal with black folk, but hell we all have to make a living right?
There was a time when I would be offended by racists, but now I just laugh at the shortcomings that possess the bigots.
But as you can see it really doesn't matter you status in society you are still going to be seen the N word in some circles. This is evident in sports ALL SPORTS! LeBron James as time and time again been very vocal about race relations and its very important for him to continue that conversation as time goes on. He has donated time and money relating to the less fortunate along with understanding the history. This too is special when it comes down to the truth.
We need more black athletes to take a moment and stand up for their no matter the consequences and the reason being is that when they don't they are seen as the enemy- I understand they have to feed their families and succeed in their careers but what about the voiceless and the ones that continue to suffer along with the ones that is vocal but no one can hear their cries.
