     Here we go again.  

   LeBron James home was sprayed with the N word and once again we are all reminded that no matter who you are- you will be reminded of how far we have come.


   The danger of not knowing where you stand leaves you wide open to deception. Staying aware of your surroundings will give you the edge of the hatred that is clearly in your face. See- I know there are people around me that would rather not deal with black folk, but hell we all have to make a living right?

    There was a time when I would be offended by racists, but now I just laugh at the shortcomings that possess the bigots.

    But as you can see it really doesn't matter you status in society you are still going to be seen the N word in some circles. This is evident in sports ALL SPORTS! LeBron James as time and time again been very vocal about race relations and its very important for him to continue that conversation as time goes on. He has donated time and money relating to the less fortunate along with understanding the history. This too is special when it comes down to the truth.

     We need more black athletes to take a moment and stand up for their no matter the consequences and the reason being is that when they don't they are seen as the enemy- I understand they have to feed their families and succeed in their careers but what about the voiceless and the ones that continue to suffer along with the ones that is vocal but no one can hear their cries.

HEALING

The craziest thing about life is we all have some things that needs changing. But at times we always find a way to ignore these by occupying ourselves with unreasonable thoughts.

Most of the time life will always bring you some solace, but you must be willing to let it in. Working hard in life is only a small part of that. The tension is real and the only way you can overcome that is to allow someone to help you heal.

As human the hardest thing to do is to seek help when you need it the most.

No matter what people says about seeking help, it’s something that can’t always be avoided.  You have to maintain and understand what you are seeking in order to advance in your mission to get better.

#SHOTS FIRED: PERFECT TIMING

Shots Fired will be coming to an end tonight. But this conversation must continue until the end of time. I can only imagine how many innocent young black men and women have lost their lives at the hands of corruption.

Shots Fired should be applauded for the hard work and the realistic aspects that occur in our neighborhoods on the daily basis. I too have been accosted by the cops on several occasions and will never forget these encounters. But unlike so many I could walk away alive. Although that was a different time the only thing that has changed is faces and names.

These two brothers fought for the rights of black folk and gave everything they had without any fear in sight.

FINDING YOUR DIRECTION

I have just been sitting here thinking about direction.

It's graduation season and this is the time of year I begin to reflect on the past and the direction of my future.

I graduated late in life-but I made it.  Last night I watched my sister get a degree and that was the most inspiring to me. I have one year of college and I know that's not much, but i do know its never too late to do what you need to survive.

Time and time again the world has tried every trick in the book to detour our people and to see a group of young black people continue to advance and inspire others in the process. The most important thing is to continue the process.

Education is important and if you don't know your direction then just hang on for the ride and one day the light bulb will illuminate and your inspiration will come to you.

#RESIST

May we all find a way to make through this turbulent situation.

We all have been conned and there is no other way to put it. Our new administration has one goal and that is to control this country by appeasing to the majority while the rest of us can only submit to social media. (For Now) but that may change.

Their goal is to amend out 1st amendment rights and if we fold they win even if we find out we actually have the best hand.
